Applying for the programme

Kickstarting For Good is looking for talented and driven individuals who want to transform the food system towards a more plant-forward future. We welcome applications from all countries and different sectors of the movement.

You can apply as an individual working on an idea, or as a team of co-founders working to develop an initiative together. You might be working on a new concept that you are still looking to validate, or you might already have developed a prototype and got some initial traction.

We also welcome ideas from established organisations that are looking to scale, relaunch, or are looking to ‘spin-out’ a current campaign into a stand-alone organisation.

Stage 1: Written application

We open for applications each March. The process begins by you completing a written application form which helps us get an understanding of your background, experience and interests. In the application form you can submit your own idea or tell us about which idea areas you are interested in working in.

23 March – 31 May 2026

Stage 2: Trial tasks, tests and video

If you progress to stage two, you will be invited to complete a trail task or to answer specific questions about your idea. You will also complete an automated video interview where you will be asked to give more details about your idea.

Estimated dates: 15 – 21 June 2026

Stage 3: Group call

On passing the second stage, if you applied without your own idea you may be invited to a group call where you will meet potential co-founders who are interested in the same idea areas. If you applied with your own idea, you may be invited to a group call with any potential co-founders who have also applied. You will also be asked to complete and online aptitude and personality test so that we can test your fit for the programme.

Estimated dates: 22 – 28 June 2026

Stage 4: Interview

If you pass stage three, for the final stage you will be invited for an individual interview.

Estimated dates: 29 June – 10 July 2026

Confirmation

From applicant to participant! We aim to make our final decision by early July. Once we have confirmed your participation, we will send you the cohort contract to review and return and book your travel and accommodation for the first in-person week in Berlin, Germany.

Estimated dates: 6 – 10 July 2026
